Efectis successfully tested the extinguishing qualities of FT JN1010, a FFF (Fluor Free Foam) according to Annex H of EN 1568-3:2008. The fire tests were carried out indoors at a partner facility under controlled climatological conditions with equipment of Efectis Nederland. FT JN1010 with 6% concentration proved to be successful in controlling and extinguishing N-Heptane fires in agreement with the specifics of EN 1568-3:2008 and The Fire extinguishing performance is Class I and the burn-back level is A using potable water. The tests were witnessed by Bureau Veritas.

The Airport Emergency Service Team in Changi Airport tested and certified that FT JN1010 is effectively in line with ICAO’s Fire tests recommendation for

• Fire Extinction time of 50 seconds (Requirement – less than 60 seconds) and

• Burn-back Resistance more than 14 min (Requirement – more than 5 mins).

Elemental analysis on FT JN1010 was done by TUV SUD PSB Singapore. Two testing methods were executed –

• Micro-wave digestion and

• Elements by Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometry.

Our product was tested for Cadmium, Copper, Lead, Mercury and Zinc. The test results showed that FT JN1010 is Toxin-free and the heavy metals were zero/negligible than allowable limits. It is certified to be in accordance with Singapore green labelling scheme certification guide.

FT JN1010 was tested by analysed by UL Quality Assurance Pvt Ltd., through solvent extraction and detection by LCMSMS method and found free of PFOA-PFAS.

FT JN1010 was subjected to Environmental and Materials testing by ANALYTICAL LABORATORIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD with reference to US EPA 3550C: 2007 standards. The test results indicated FT JN1010 to be Non-Toxic and free from compounds such as Perfluoro octa

ne sulfonates (PFOS – Acid, Metal, Salt, Amide) and Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA).

FT JN1010’s was tested by UL (India) for the applicable Standards of ICAO Doc 9137-AN/898 Airport Services Manual, Part 1 – Rescue and Firefighting. The test results effectively and easily met the Level B Requirements of

• Time to Extinction as 56 seconds (Requirement - less than 1 minute) and

• Burn-back Resistance of more than 15 minutes (Requirement - more than 5 minutes for 25% of the surface)
