Service Description

And were back - The Midgee cup is for all members and friends and anyone to come and have a roll-up and enjoy the game of bowls. The rules will be evolving over the coming month as we gear up to start officially in 2026. At the moment it is $5 to play you get a schooner beer but you have to buy the winning opponent a beer upon a loss. Going forward you will accrue points per Miji Cup win which will go towards a quarterly finals playoff for prizes and mostly you will have your name engraved on the cup at the Miji Cup. Please feel free to send this link to anyone that you feel can be a part of our Miji Cup from a Wednesday starting at 3.30 with the cut off for numbers at 2 o'clock via a link to be installed on the WhatsApp app. This link will be a quick one click straight in and just say yes or no and numbers to ensure that we can have the correct numbers and use that data then to ensure that we have the right balance of players on each team. For instance using a member versus a non-member side of the draw but this is all to be confirmed.

Cancellation Policy

Midgee Cup Booking, Cancellation & Waitlist Policies (Even-Number System) 1. Booking Policy The Midgee Cup operates on an even-number participation rule. Registrations are accepted in order, but the total number of active participants must always remain even. When someone registers: If their registration creates an even number, they are confirmed. If their registration creates an odd number, they are placed on a temporary hold (or “pending”) until: one more person registers (making it even), or they withdraw. 2. Cancellation Policy If a participant cancels: The system rechecks the total number. If the cancellation creates an odd number, the next person on the waitlist is automatically promoted to maintain an even total. If no waitlisted players exist, the remaining participant count may remain odd temporarily, but new bookings will be restricted until the number becomes even again. 3. Waitlist Policy The waitlist also operates on the even-number rule. When someone from the waitlist is promoted: Their promotion must restore an even total. If promoting only one person results in an odd number, two waitlisted players may be promoted together. If a waitlisted registration would cause an odd total, they remain on the waitlist until the next slot opens. 4. “Last Registered Rule” The most recently registered person determines whether the total will be even. If the last registrant causes the total to become odd, they remain in pending status until the next registration or cancellation resolves the number.
